Welcome to the New Zealand Hypnotherapy Federation Inc. web site.
As the Peak Body and umbrella organisation for the Hypnotherapy profession in New Zealand, one of the Federation’s objectives is to foster closer ties between the New Zealand Hypnotherapy organisations: Professional Associations, Private Training Establishments, and the New Zealand Hypnotherapist Registration Board Inc.
The Federation organises the National Hypnotherapy Conference each year, which continues to improve and provides the profession with on-going training learning opportunities and also networking and socialising. From a one day conference in 1995, it has evolved into a full weekend of learning featuring local and international speakers, and the profession’s premier event: the Hypnotherapy Profession’s Award Dinner.
This year the 18th National Conference Weekend will be held on 3rd - 4th September, at Barrycourt Hotel & Conference Centre, Gladstone Road, Parnell Auckland.
The conference day (Saturday 3rd September) will consist of a full line up of interesting speakers, both local and international, covering a variety of hypnotherapy and business related topics.This is followed by the profession's premier event - the Award Dinner, where we honour those who have given diligent service to the profession over many years, and those who have achieved.
The On-going Training day (Sunday 4th September) consist of two 3 hour Workshops, and an acclaimed presentfeatures our two Key Note International presenters:
It promises to be a very important and interesting and informative learning weekend, as well as great value for money, and well worth attending. See below for more details.

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority's intended National Hypnotherapy qualification is not available, as NZQA relinquished all of the Natural Therapies Unit Standards, including Hypnotherapy, at the end of 2008.

- Alan Patching (Aust.), an acclaimed presenter from our 2010 conference, will return this year to conduct a 3 Hour workshop on using various therapies within hypnotherapy (CBT, RET, etc.)
- Aaron McLoughlin (Aust.) will conduct a 3 Hour Workshop on Anxiety & Sleep, healing the circular trap.

NZHRB UPDATE
The NZHRB is the only independent registration board for Hypnotherapists in New Zealand. It liaises with other hypnotherapy organisations (E.g. NZ Hypnotherapy Federation) for items of mutual interest, while remaining totally independent.
